Jason came out and power washed the house to get ready for paint. He helped me pick out the colors for the brick and the trim. He made several suggestions on what he thought would look good. I had just lost my wife after 35 years of marriage to pancreatic cancer and he was very compassionate about helping me. They spent 4 days replacing rotted wood and painting the house. It looks beautiful I would recommend them to anyone. Him and Justin are great guys

In 2014, when my new roof started leaking and I found out the company that installed it had disappeared, I contacted Blue Nail Roofing. They fixed the leak and made repairs that preventing future problems. Later on, I needed another new roof due to severe storms in my areas and I turned to them again. They installed my current roof in a timely manner and gave me a valid warranty. They take the time to explain what needs to be done, answer questions, and provide estimates and pictures. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I highly recommend Blue Nail Roofing. They just completed a complex repair from recent storms that required several visits. Blue Nail proved to me they care completely about excellence in customer service, dedication to quality installation, and the willingness to do everything it takes to get a complex repair done right. I wish I Would have done more research on this company and looked at their better business bureau complaints. bad quality work. I'm sure most of the Google reviews are fake. I have a leak on my new roof and haven't heard back from them.

We had Blue Nail do a multi-part project for us: roof, insulation, and gutter. We worked with Kyle, who did a good job of keeping us apprised of what was happening next and what to expect, and who was responsive to calls from us. The project was pretty well organized, and disruption was kept to a minimum. As with many exterior construction projects, weather and supplier delays were a factor that had to be worked around. The workers who came to our home were courteous and conscientious. They did a wonderful job of cleanup after the roof replacement. I only found one stray nail in the whole yard. All in all, we were delighted with the results, and we will use them again if we plan another project.

The quality of the work was good,BUT every other aspect was the worst ive ever experienced, backed into the area near my garage, left materials onsite,cable line was cut and there were multiple rescheduling dates, left hand doesn't know what the right is doing it seems, tried to bill for work not done, offered nothing in return for their poor service.

In response to what Blue Nail wrote below. I want to clarify and let you know that your staff is not aware of your "policy". I called Blue Nail office this Tuesday morning, June, 26th at 8:05am. I spoke with Molly. I explained that the repair work they had done some 2 months earlier had made a water leak problem worse and I had more water damage on the interior sheetrock of my home than before repair work was done. I asked what could be done and she placed me on an extended hold. (I do not expect them to fix interior damage - the original builder of our 1yr old home owns his own sheetrock company. I need them to help me fix the roof so it won't leak.) When Molly returned she let me know that roof repair work is not warrantied but they would try to work something out since it was only 2 months ago that work was done. I stopped her. Confirmed what I just heard by repeating it back to her. She confirmed again and said it was to costly to warranty repair work (if they kept having to fix or solve problem - my words). I let her know that I was disappointed to hear that and would take the opportunity to find another roofer that could help me and never use Blue Nail again. I then hung up the phone.Future customers need to make sure they understand what is under warranty and what is not. I have learned my lesson. If they had told me this upfront we would not have trusted them with the work. I am a homeowner who needs a reliable roofer to help me take care of my house. Blue Nail cannot offer this. I will find another local roofer in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale TX area to help.*******************First posted review 6/26/19 8:30amWon't warranty roof repair work. Just had a $1300 repair done on my roof 2 months ago by Blue Nail. Kyle quoted the work, I gave him a check, and then one day two weeks later a white van shows up. No one called me, never knocked on door to let me know they were there to do work. I cannot see repair from ground level because of location. No one came out afterwards to check work or take pictures and let me see what they had done. They actually managed to make the water leak worse. I have twice as much water damage in my home now. I will never use Blue Nail again and would not recommend them to anyone. Life lesson learned - never use a company that won't warranty work.

Over the years, living in Texas, I have had a number of roof repairs and complete roofs replaced, I must say replacing my roof from a terrible hail storm with Eric Thomason and his crew made this the easiest job I have ever done. Eric videoed everything, which was important, because the insurance adjuster missed a lot of damage. So Blue Nail is not just a roofer, they will get the job done, acting as your general contractor, in some cases. I had windows broke, pool equipment damaged, and gutters that had to be replaced, and I didn't have to worry about anything, they took care of everything. Can't say enough food things about Eric and Blue Nail Roofing!

We had our roof replaced by Blue Nail after a crazy hail storm in North Texas. Although there was a leak after they initially replaced the roof due to a faulty vent, they replaced the vent and fixed the subsequent damage the leak caused. Blue Nail Roofing gave me a new roof in 2015, then a tornado took it, they showed up and told me they would fix everything for $24,000.00 more just a few months later, as I got $20K from insurance. I told them I would ask around, I ended up getting everything fixed for less than the $20k I got from insurance. I don't appreciate companies who try to take advantage of people in crisis. I would avoid them at all cost.

Thought it was a good company, But we had our roof done and then when it was leaking they did fix it. They first said $ 900. in damage and then $2400. They said that our roof was not holding water and we have photos to prove it. This company does not stand by their work and I would not recommend them to anyone. They will not keep their word.This will not even let you post unless you click on a star. they do not even deserve one star.

My husband contacted Blue Nail Enterprises to inspect our roof and property for damage caused by a severe hail storm. We both met with the Blue Nail Rep who conducted a very thorough inspection complete with pictures and he returned to discuss the damage and estimate with our Insurance Adjuster. We awarded the contract to Blue Nail Enterprises and could not be more pleased with the job as it was handled timely and with precision. They explained everything up front, during and upon completion and everyone who came onto our property was courteous and professional. I needed skirting done to my new tiny house and heard about Blue Nail on an ad on KRLD and sent them an email since it was over the weekend and was super surprised to get a response within a couple of hours (amazing). Everyone at Blue Nail was awesome and so friendly! They came out and gave me an estimate within a couple of days and I have to admit it was more than what I wanted to pay, but you know the saying "you get what you pay for" and it was worth every penny. My house looks great, I got a compliment from my neighbor the day it was finished saying how good it looked and that they did a great job. They went above and beyond helping me with a frozen pipe issue and didn't even charge me. Don't let the name fool you, they do more than roofing. After they do job on your roof and after they get paid that's it , they won't stand behind there customer, if you have problems or have to compliant cheap material they used on your roof they won't talk to you. Top of it you have to fight with them to get there warranty.

Blue Nail had replaced the roof on a house I recently purchased. Since I don't know anything about roofs, and only had some vague documentation, I sent them a note to ask for a little more information about the roof they installed, what its features were, whether it is covered by any warranty, etc.They got in touch a few days later and provided answers to all the questions I had. I was not thrilled to learn that there was a $395 warranty transfer fee (which is not particularly uncommon) but since the manufacturer wouldn't allow the materials warranty to transfer anyway, it ended up being a moot point. They did offer to come out and have a look at the roof the next time they were in my area, just to put my mind at ease that the guys who did the AC work hadn't done any damage. He pointed out a few things that needed to be corrected, sent me an explanation, and took pictures, which was much appreciated.Overall I was pretty happy with our experience with them and felt like they went above and beyond to keep us happy.

Working with Blue Nail has been as wonderful an experience as having to get your roof replaced could be. They were recommended by our insurance company, so we knew they were a legit company that we didn't have to worry about leaving our roof in disrepair after the 1st check.Melissa Caldwell was an amazing consultant - she met with us when it was convenient for us (sometimes 7:30-8pm at night) to go over exactly what was needed and the options available. She was easy to contact and seemed genuinely interested in helping us. Also, she was incredibly friendly. :)The work was done in one day, with no debris left around to worry about. I didn't have to work with customer service much, but the times I did I only had good experiences. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and family!

Yesterday my wife and I closed on our very first home. We knew the process would be enduring since the beginning, but it was that plus 10x more. Having roof issues 2 days before closing is not the place you want to be. Luckily I was connected to Eric Estrada, from Blue Nail Enterprise. Eric was beyond amazing, he really saved the whole deal. I was given his number two hours before the final walk thru to check some of the roof structural and roofing work perform, and he volunteer to with me as third party inspector. With his experience and expertise we noticed much more work was needed, work that if left undone would have been extremely costly to us later. That same night Eric was able to provide a proposal that could not be beaten to the owners for the work needs. Next day / or one day before closing to be exact, Eric was on top of the roof making the repairs. He provided pictures of the work, pre, post and after. We had a great experience with Eric and his crew, and would definitely recommend their company to anyone. Thank you Eric and Blue Nail Enterprise, you made our home deal possible. We are extremely excited to be new home owners and know that we know have a value resource for any home work.

We contracted with Blue Nail Roofing following the two hail storms which struck in the Spring of 2016. We suffered damage to the roof, fence, garage doors, entry doors, gutters, downspouts, etc.. First, let me say that BNR did a great job on the roof; after all that is their core competency. However, we ran into issues when it came to some of the sub-contractors they selected for the other work, specifically for the gutters (totally unacceptable job the first time...had to pull it all down and do it again), and the time it took to complete all of the work (just now finished end of Jan 2017). I realize there were many homes in the area damaged during this time and that good sub-contractors are hard to come by, but BNR needs be up-front about this and relay to their customers that it will take some additional time for the best companies to become available, rather than settle for a company to do this work who has not been vetted. 4 stars for finally getting it right in the end.

Eric Thomason and his staff worked with us for 7 months to get our Wylie, Texas hail damaged home back in shape. Great to work with as well all the repair crews he had sent out to fix various things on the inside and outside of our home. Blue Nail replaced our hail damaged roof in September 2015. Our representative was Melissa Caldwell who was both knowledgeable and very helpful. She has additional roofing certifications and provided assistance in co-ordination with our insurance company which we very much appreciated. Blue Nail scheduled and completed our re-roof in a timely manner. J. J. and his crew arrived on the agreed on date and worked from sun up to sunset to get the job completed in one day (except for the installation of a new skylight which required special order). J.J. provided frequent updates as the job progress so I was always aware of what was being done. The old roofing materials were completely removed and care was taken to remove any stray nails/screws. Our experience with Blue Nail was '5 star' and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I decided to submit this review now because I hope it will help someone else feel more comfortable about choosing a reputable roofing company in the aftermath of the recent tornados.

Blue Nail did a very poor job on my roof. They took 5 moths to complete and did not do a good job. It did not leak before, and now it leaks. They did not want to fix the leaks around my fireplace because they said I had "rotten mortar." I got 2 other estimates from roofers and both told me that they did not install the flashing right or seal around my fireplace and that is why it is leaking. I paid another roofer to fix the leak for $75. The written warranty I have from Blue Nail is worthless. They over promise and under deliver.

Recently I found a roof shingle in my flower bed, and after the spring storms we had this year, I was afraid it had come off of my roof. I asked Melissa to do a roof inspection for me.She came to my house on a blistering hot Texas summer day, climbed my 2 story multi-level roof, and refused payment of any type – her roof inspections are free!Melissa assured me that the shingle had NOT come from my roof, and that it had blown in from somewhere else. She showed me my shingles were of a 40 year roof type and thickness with a measuring tool. My home needed a new roof and my home insurance provider told me the roof was workable and not in need of any repairs in spite of a severe storm back in 2011. The roof was about 20 years old and had not been managed or received a single shingle replacement since I moved in the home in 1995 at least not until I met Blue Nail Roofing Consultant, Melissa Caldwell. Melissa came out to my home and completed several critical examinations of the home, turning over every stone (so to speak) and successfully got my insurance company to reconsider their decision. Melissa knows her job well and demonstrated her knowledge in several key performance indicators which her goal was to satisfy her customer...She knows home quality, cost and kept Blue Nail service commitment out front without making it seems unaffordable. She was certainly the right person for this job.I also was awarded the opportunity to meet Blue Nail Production Manager,J.J. Foust. J.J. supervised his team professionally and kept me updated on the entire day's project. J.J. guided me with a finished walk through and explained each of his key points out clearly such as how newly applied shingles reacts to cooler temperatures vs higher temperatures, what to look for inside of the home following a heavy rain "if" a fault in laying the shingles was done unsuspectingly. J.J conducted a second run after the job was completed scanning for debris or hazards...His team gathered all the trash and not one shrubbery plant or petal was affected..(Melissa also assured me of this) I think what made me feel really safe....was he asked this single question, "Is this how your ground property looked before we arrived? That statement was a statement of concern to me about me and his professional ethic. Melissa and J.J. and their team was awesome....I will recommend Blue Nail to anyone and everyone whom I may have a conversation with about obtaining a "new roof for their home."

I was referred to them by several people and they did my roof under a hail damage insurance claim a year ago and did an outstanding job. I wouldn't risk such an important job to anyone else. They handled everything from start to finish and even found some things missing from the insurance estimate and worked with my insurance to get it adjusted properly. Overall I am happy with my experience, our roof had damage along with a few other items such as windows and our fence. They roof work was done quickly and they did a good job picking up after they were done. The guy that was contracted to do our windows was really good and very informative. The person who did our fence also did a really good job, we really enjoy seeing the fence completed.The reason I can't give this company a 5 star rating is the communication is not great. I went from working with one person to another and finally had to put it all in an email including everyone so that we were all on the same page. In the end it was all worked out and I am satisfied with the work done.

My very old roof had some storm damage and my insurance approved replacement. Eric Thomason came to my home and gave me a very detailed, knowledgeable explanation of what we needed and benefits/drawbacks of various options, without being pushy or insisting on expensive upgrades. The actual work was completed in about 6 hours on a Saturday and looks great. Even though I had a complete tear-off of the old roof and some deck replacement, the crew left my yard spotless! I think we found a total of two nails and a small piece of shingle on the ground in the weeks following replacement. The office staff has also been very friendly and helpful. I haven't had any complaints throughout the process. Thanks so much!

Hey that is exactly what your "Contractor" Cody Rabal did to us. No deductible promised the world, (eg. promised a 30 year roof, installed a 20 year roof!!) did'nt finish, NO gutters as promised, promised roof on the patio, he had a sub contractor put Cheap Barn tin on the roof, which leaks. And Cody Rabal kept saying he was "coming by to fix it tomorrow" at least 3 times and guess what CODY WAS A NO SHOW EVERY TIME. Obviously Cody made it sound to good to be true, and your right BLUE Nail, it was to good to be true!

After a fairly bad hailstorm last year almost every home around me was getting a new roof installed. I called my insurance company and they sent out an adjuster who said mine was fine due to the better shingles it had. I was skeptical but accepted their decision. A few months later I met James Denton of Blue Nail who was working on another home up the street and I got him to check out my roof. He found damage and then worked with my insurance company to convince them that the roof was indeed in need of replacement. Without his help this would not have happened. The reroofing job itself was something to see. The site boss, Lou, had a crew of 12 guys who stripped off the old shingles and installed the new felt and shingles in only 8 hours. And my roof is not small. It really looks good now and makes the house look new again. I have no regrets with using Blue Nail.

To whom it may concern;I had a house whose roof had not been attended to for 15 years. I decided to take advantage of Blue Nail's, Free Inspection. It turned out that the roof had several problems!To my agreement, James Denton went ahead and fixed these problems on a temporary fix. NO CHARGE TO ME!James Denton is a very nice and honest guy. He took me through each problem and explained so I could understand. He told me what Blue Nail would do and how it would be done.James was here when my insurance company sent an adjuster and he explained just what the job would cost me. Just had my roof done on August 21, 2013 by Blue Nail Enterprise! Loved this company! First point of contact was with account manager James Denton. What a great guy. He came to my house to help contact insurance and walked thru every step with me. Due to his love for his work he also helped us get extra money to redo a sunroom that had been damaged by water leaks from roof! He even offered to bring my garbage bins up from the curb! The owner of the company Eric Thompson also met with me and made this process easy breezy. Crew was punctual and got right to work, no fooling aroind! The work was exceptional and what was even more exceptional was the clean up! Not a nail, dirt, old shingles left behind! Both James and Eric came by after work was completed to do an inspection and make sure we were satisfied. This company also offers a manufatures warrenty which is also transferable in case we ever sell the house. Only company that has this! This is truely a 5 star company that cares about the quality of their work and the client!!! Will recommend them to anyone I meet!

I was very pleasantly surprised with Blue Nail Enterprises. They have an outstanding enhanced warranty that goes beyond what a normal warranty will cover. All the work they performed was done very cleanly, they made sure that everything was picked up and tidy as they went instead of leaving a mess. Since I have a touch of OCD I appreciated that they took pride in their work and cared about how it was presented even before it was finished. I just wanted to thank Blue Nail for making the process of replacing my roof go so smoothly! I was afraid that it would be a huge ordeal to get it fixed after the hailstorm, but Blue Nail was very friendly and made it a very understandable process.
